Parent Tips: Practices 1.1.3 & 2.1.2

Some children will take to these practices immediately. For others, it may be difficult to tap into their full creativity, particularly since we are asking them to think of gentle insults, not mean insults. If you notice your child having difficulty accessing that part of their brain, encourage them to stand up and move their bodies until they feel loose and ready to look at things in a new way.

Some kids may need your permission to let their brains be creative because it’s not what they’re allowed to do in school or in other parts of their life. If this is your child, please let them know they have your support.
